Day 6 – WITNESSING
Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 3:15
Telling others about Jesus is called witnessing. You can witness to others in any number of ways. It doesn’t always mean sitting down with them, pulling out a Bible, and walking them through the Scriptures. Did you know you can be a witness for Jesus by the way you live? When you obey God’s Word in your life, you’re a witness.

When a friend at school sees you treat someone with kindness or respect, you’re being a witness of Christ’s love inside you. Let’s act out a situation where one family member witnesses to another without using words. Take a moment to decide what you’ll do and how you’ll do it. When we’re finished with the role playing, we’ll talk about whether the message of God’s love got communicated. Jesus not only wants you to be a witness of His love and God’s goodness to those around you; He also wants you to tell others about His saving love when you can. That might be as simple as sharing a Bible verse with a friend. Do you have John 3: 16 memorized?

Let’s try to memorize it. Let’s say it together: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (NASB). That one verse sums up what it takes to be saved: believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, so when you tell someone about that, you’re witnessing about Jesus and His free gift of salvation.

Dia 6 – TESTIFICA
Lectura Bíblica: 1 Pedro 3:15
Decirles a otros acerca de Jesús se llama testificar. Puedes testificar a los demás de muchas maneras. No siempre significa sentarse con ellos, sacar una Biblia, y llevarlos por un viaje a través de las Escrituras. ¿Sabías que puedes ser un testigo de Jesús por la forma en que vives? Cuando obedeces la Palabra de Dios en tu vida, eres un testigo. Cuando un amigo en la escuela ve que tratas a alguien con amabilidad o respeto, estás siendo un testigo del amor de Cristo.

Vamos a representar una situación en la que un miembro de la familia testifica a otro sin usar palabras. Toma un momento para decidir qué harás y cómo lo harás. Cuando terminemos con el juego de roles, hablaremos acerca del mensaje del amor de Dios que se comunicó. Jesús no sólo quiere que seas un testigo de su amor y de la bondad de Dios para con los que te rodean; también quiere que le digas a otros acerca de Su amor salvador cuando puedas. Eso puede ser tan simple como compartir un verso de la Biblia con un amigo. ¿Tienes a Juan 3:16 memorizado?

Vamos a tratar de memorizarlo. Digamos juntos: "Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna". Ese versículo resume lo que se necesita para ser salvo: creer en el Señor Jesucristo para el perdón de los pecados. Jesús murió en la cruz como un sacrificio por nuestros pecados, así que cuando le cuentas a alguien acerca de eso, estás testificando acerca de Jesús y Su regalo gratuito de salvación.
